I'm thinking about doing the same thing. I have a 3.5 yr old and a 16 month old. I pick them up almost every day from daycare in my '05 Coupe and it's a pain getting them in and out. There's also very little room behind my seat and my daughter's car seat. When she gets a little taller, her feet will be constantly kicking the back of my seat. I need to go test drive the new G sedan.

I've spoken to a couple salesppl at various local dealers that other members have referred me to on another thread. And, I've been able to get one salesperson to give me a good price ($500-1000 over invoice). Hopefully, it won't fall through and the salesperson doesn't renege on the offer.

I still have to sell my coupe though first. I hope it doesn't take too long to sell. I only listed it a few days ago.

HOORAAHHHH! It looks like I may have found a buyer! The guy came by last night and offered me $31700....not bad since the BB value is between $31500-33000. I may get the new 07 sedan by next week!

Let's cross our fingers and hope the deal goes through. He put down a $1000 deposit last night. So, I'm sure it's good to go!

I was thinking about trading it in too to save me the trouble of selling it privately. The dealer only offered me $25k for the car! In less than a week, I was offered almost $32k for it.....good thing I didn't go with the trade-in!

I've been in contact with two dealers in N. Cal and both are willing via email to give me around $1000 over invoice, which is about $1500 below msrp, I guess. But, who knows what they'll say when I actually go there to buy....you know how shady they can be to try to get you into the dealership to buy.

It's officially SOLD! Now, it's time to go car shopping. I plan on bringing all my email correspondences with me to ensure I get the deal I discussed with the salesperson(s). Wish me luck!

Your gonna love the 07. And so will your children. I have a six year old and one on the way. The six year old never did any damage when she was young to any interiors. And I'm **** when it comes to my toys! Good luck dealing, and let us know what you end up with.

GOT IT!!!! We ended up getting a Black Journey sedan with premium package for $500 over invoice. So basically, I got the new car for only $1000 more than what I just sold me 05 coupe for!
