New 07 G Mileage... [How hard do you drive?]

Now that many of our break-ins are over (and for some of us, break-ins only mean drive that ish harder!), I'm curious what everyone's typical MPG is. I drive my G pretty hard. I push my engine and enjoy my brakes. I drive mostly on surface streets but hit the freeway at least once every other day.

Avg mpg: 16.7

18mpg... almost exclusively city driving, although on the few longer trips I've taken the car has done 22-24mpg

nvm, I have an 04... you should really title the poll appropriately because all anyone sees is "Avg MPG?"

I get about 23mpg+, but at least 90%-95% of my driving is done cruising on the highway.

*edit* --> I have an 06 6MT Coupe.

Keep in mind that winter time uses a different gasoline mixture which is less fuel efficient (at least for those who live in colder climates).

I hope I pick up a mile or two per gallon when spring gets here or I'll be dumping this car maybe as soon as summer. I was expecting at least 20, which I can't seem to get with babying it and 90% highway miles, and when you drive it more spirited your below 15, that's not acceptable to me.

btw, where are you upstate?

6MT COUPE --- 21-22 mpg. I drive 1 mile to work and 1 mile back on weekdays and add 10 more for shopping (~20 city miles) but I go cruising around over the weekends (100+ highway miles).

That said the highway miles are no 55 mph cruise in 6th gear.

21.9 was my best 20.3 was my worst.

12mpg? There must be something wrong there. I'm averaging 13.1 L/10km or about 17.96mpg. Mostly city driving.

I was going to vote on this poll, but there is no sense since this was for the 07 sedans and looking at the poll lots of the people that voted do not have 07 sedans, they have older sedans or coupes.

I can't seem to really get it above 20 mpg, even on the highway. Lately I've been doing bunch of spirited driving, and the average was about 16 mpg. Then, after some normal highway driving, I got the average up to around 18.

Kind of sucks, wish it was a lot better. I'm just surprised that no matter what I do on the highway, (65-85 mph), the mileage just seems to hover at 20 mpg. I try to be fairly environmentally conscious, and this kind of hurts. But, at least I do other things right like carpool, recycle, low energy bulbs, etc.

Yeah, I really wish that the people that don't have an 07 Sedan would not vote on these polls. It totally defeats the purpose of the poll.

You've got to be kidding me. Grow some *****. Your gushing with guilt. Get over your ego and do some of your own research instead of listening to morons like Al Gore .
