Ticket On Turnpike!

So im heading home in my car driving smoothly and everything is going great. just refueled and my radar is scanning at its best ( 8500 x 50) im about to pass a bridge and BAM LASERR right when im about 1 hour from home. what a sucky as ending to my great roadtrip . So i know he pulling out to get me and i pull over so he doesnt ahve to chase me, i figure if im considerate so will he! he asks me why i had blue tape on the front of my car (painters tape) cant afford a clear bra! haha and i said to protect it. he gave me a ticket 93 in a 70 yikes! anyways thats my story. i know it sucks but though id fill you in.

BTW i was going about 100 and i swear i felt like i was going 70 it was too smooth and felt too good, this car is sooo nicee!

Glad to see you admit.... we all make mistakes...it's up to us all to learn from them and go on.......

I agree that it's so easy to speed excessively in these cars. They feel so sure footed at speed.

Take it easy.. and I hope that ticky isn't too costly

"VEIL is applied with a paint brush (which is provided) just like you would any other kind of paint. It dries to a satin-like finish and forms a weather-resistant film which also serves to protect the lights from road debris. The coating is easily removable with some common consumer household products."

Dude, that'd make your car's hood look like crap with a satin finish!! Might work if you put it only on your plate, but I wouldn't spend $90 to try it. I can understand how it works though - I bet it performs like it says it does - reducing Lidar reflections by up to 50% Interesting suggestion though.
Does anyone use this and do you have pics of what it looks like on your car?

I was on I95 for the first time this weekend with G since I bought her about 4 weeks ago and I was on the phone (bluetooth, of course) and looked down and realized that I was about to break 105 mph - I had NO idea. It was great!!! I am glad to say that I didn't get a ticket this time around.

I thought you were going to say that the being chased by biker girls was BS. That doesn't make any sense to me.

If I recall correctly, our cars are limited at 156MPH. According to the engine gearing, the car should be able to hit 190ish MPH in 5th gear in an automatic.
