you might want to break up 21-30. Thats a pretty big gap in terms of age differences.... (ex. a 21 yr old is a lot younger than a 29 yr old.)

How does a 21 year old afford a $40k car if its not from their parents? I'm 32 and this is my first brand new car, I remember when I was 21 I cold barely afford even a used car..

Well, I'm guessing they probably don't have mortgage payments to deal with.

I started out with a 4 dr Olds Cutlass. Times have changed ... auto leases weren't really popular back then so now the down payent hurdle is easier to meet.

As I suspect, the G seems to appeal more to the 20-40 crowd. Older than that, I'm guessing people are moving up to +$40K vehicles or possibly lower to deal with mortgage & tuition payments.

Sorry, I can't break up the demographics without starting a new poll. I figure this is good enough.

I'm curious about whos leasing and whos using conventional financing. I'll start that poll now ... stay tuned.

Remember ... none of this is accurate and really all in fun. Enjoy.
