I know I've seen threads on this before, but I don't think I've ever seen definitive answers.

1. Do the '07 OEM 18" rims work on the X?
2. Will the dealer install them? (don't want to talk to my salesguy again until I'm ready to deal!)
3. Why wouldn't Infinity offer them as an option?

Thanks for any input. I've been lurking on the board for months and have picked up a wealth of information.

For the AWD model, you cannot run a different size wheels on the front and rear (ie. staggered) it messes with the AWD system, different traction from larger and smaller wheels?.

Wayne (GEE35X) supplied me with this info on the factory Sport 18" wheels:
Front 7.5" wide x 45mm offset
Back 8.5" wide x 50mm offset.

That's why it's not offered. I suppose you could order 4x 18" wheels that are for the front. ie. 4 18x7.5 wheels with 45mm offset.

Personally, I don't like the mesh design of the stock 18's, not everyones cabbage I suppose

Thanks for the info. I'm not absolutely crazy about he stock 18" myself, so I'm also considering aftermarket. Another decision to stew over I suppose.

Isn't the difference basically 5 spokes versus 7 spokes? They look very similar to me.
