Butt is wearing leather down
Anyone else noticing this? I've only been driving for two weeks and the leather under my right butt cheek is pretty worn. What should I do?
Also, is it possible to use touch up paint to get rid of scratches and then use a porter cable to buff in the touch up paint so it is unnoticable? I have an annoying scratch that was caused by something kicked up by the rear tire.

If your leather is wearing that quickly you might want to just hold off and see if it becomes a warranty issue in about 5K.
As far as touching up scratches, your plan sounds about as good as any. I really don't like getting a buffer anywhere near my car... guess it depends on the scratch though.

Do you guys keep your wallet in your right rear pocket? That could be why one side is wearing out more than the other, though it shouldn't be happening at all if the leather was of decent quality.
As for the paint issue, the best way to fill in the chip is to use a very small applicator - like a toothpick - and just fill in the chipped off paint area itself without brushing into the adjacent painted finish. If you use the brush that comes with the touch-up paint, you will end up doing a messy job and you may not be able to effectively buff it out without burning through the stock paint finish.

I checked out a Sport in a dealer showroom with Stone leather and I noticed that the leather on the seat bottom side bolster nearest the door was creased pretty badly on an essentially new car. Looks like the creasing problem that lots of people had issues with on the first gen cars is still there on the new seats.

Sort of a wild oversight, imho.
Yeah, I've worried about putting all my (substantial) weight on that bolster while getting out too. Seems hard to avoid, and am thinking it is probably going to get mushed down much sooner than the bolster on the right side.

Actually, something that might have contributed to the creasing that I saw at the dealer was that they had the battery disconnected with the seat bottom bolsters cranked all the way in. So if you get in the car, you wind up sitting on TOP of the cranked-in side bolsters, which would crease the leather faster.
Idiot dealers (Tustin), how can a customer decide whether the seats fit well with the battery disconnected? Also, can't play the radio or mess with the navi. If I weren't more persistent, and online so much about these cars, I might have decided that the Sport seats are just uncomfortable for me. I went to Costa Mesa and drove a black on black Sport auto (no options) and the seat felt great. Didn't even have to ask to drive the car, Gary the salesman assumed that I wanted a test drive and just said "Let's go." (as soon as I gave him my DL to copy, of course).
