Switched to one of those a few years ago and don't regret it one bit. I wrap my credit cards and ID inside the $$$ and keep it in my front pocket.

As for the paint issue, the best way to fill in the chip is to use a very small applicator - like a toothpick - and just fill in the chipped off paint area itself without brushing into the adjacent painted finish. If you use the brush that comes with the touch-up paint, you will end up doing a messy job and you may not be able to effectively buff it out without burning through the stock paint finish.

I've gotten in/out of the car maybe 5 times and i already have creases in the bolster!!!
