Sport Suspension
Sport Suspension
I was just wondering exactly what you get with the sport suspension. Is it just stiffer shocks/springs? If I were to upgrade them, would I lose any advantage over a Journey?
Also can you really feel a difference in the LSD in everyday driving?

I have felt the LSD work on slippery roads, but this afternoon in the dry, getting on to a limited access road from a dead stop I nailed it and the LSD caused two neat marks in the road behind me.
No tire squeal, just a bit of equalized slip.
Nothing lit up but me: took a while to stop grinning!

LSD's affect performance more in corners than in a straight line by ensuring the inside wheel does not spin unecessarily. That is where you would notice the difference, especially in higher power output cars.

In the rain around a corner for instance, the rear will tend to fish tail as both tires will spin, An open diff will just get the inside wheel spinning and you will not as easily spin out.
Leaving off the line will get you more traction for sure.. but the real benefit is in the corners. You can enter a corner hard and power out of the corner with traction. On an open-diff, the inside wheel will spin and you lose traction and speed.
