Prepping a new car for the clear bra installer

I am having the car done by a certfied installer, but was wondering,

1) DEALER PREP - How do you essentailly tell the dealer not to prep/wash the car in a manner that might introduce swirls etc.

2) INSTALLER PREP - What preparation needs to be done before a clear bra is installed? Presumably a certified installer will prep/clean/buff (so as not to seal in marks/swirls)..but should there be a zaino treatment done before the clear bra is applied, or is that actually worse? I assume do nothing and just let the installer do his thing???

3) DELIVERY BEFORE OR AFTER BRA- I have the choice of ‘trusting’ the dealer, and have him farm out the install (to a certified 3m installer) so that when I accept delivery its all done…but if I do this, all the dealer will really do is charge me more. My other option to take delivery and drive to the same installer directly.

Just tell the dealer that you do not want them to wash or clean it up, and that you want to do that yourself.

As far as clear bra prep the installers always clean the area up that they are installing the clear bra.

I went through my dealer for the clear bra and tint, but only because I live over 140 kms from there. I negotiated the price for everything and I also checked with the outside installer that was doing the work to see what kind of price I could get directly from him, and I was happy with the deal I had reached. The 3m installer came directly to the Dealers and installed the clear bra in the evening on my car so it was done before it hit the road.

Forgive me if I am mistaken ... and others please chime in ...

I think there is a difference between a) 3M certified installer and b) installer that was trained / certified by the kit manufacturer.

I'm guessing that b) would be a better choice as they have done more installs.
