Question Debadging?

I was wondering if all the badges on the trunk could be removed? Mostly the large infiniti symbol, I was wondering if it had guide pin holes or if it was just doublesided tape?

Do a search. A few people have removed (at least) the letters already.

Yes, a few people have debadged their G, like Gryder's G below. Oh, and btw it is spelled INFINITI! Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine.

But I want to know if the "infiniti' badge can be removed, I don't know it there are guide pin holes or not, like hondas & acuras, and I don't want to mess with it if so.

I guess I'll post the results tomorrow, even the guy at the dealership parts counter couldn't tell me It was raining today, hopefully it will let up so I can get to work! I think the Tommy Kaira front bumper is next on the list, to help with my debadging!

Gryder, how did you debadge it? I've never attempted to debadge a car, but when my G comes in, I want to remove most of the "junk"

I used a blow dryer to heat the Adhesive then a dental floss to strip off the emblams. after that i used my index finger or thumb to remove the extra adhesive glue. Then only used a little amount of acetone on a soft cloth to remove the streak that the adhesive leave behind.

Exclamation

I thought about that one, but I don't think too many people will understand, probably think its an Altima or maxima! And it would look silly if you still had the infinity badge on the front grill and wheels with a nissan rear IMO
