Best bluetooth SmartPhone to use.

I have a new G35 with Nav and the bluetooth capabilities with my Motorola Razr are very limited with the car. I am getting a new smartphone through my job and wondered if anyone has suggestions for which one I can get that will allow bluetooth transfer of phone book etc. My choices are among those offered by Cingular: Motorola Q, Various Blackberry models, Blackjack etc. Infiniti's website doesn't seem to be giving me the information I need and doesn't include many of the new phones avialable. Any ideas?

TIA

Well I personally have the Cingular 8525. It does its job. I have'nt really messed with it other than making calls and recieving calls. I am attempting to see the capabilities on the phone with car this weekend.

You can look at the various manuals of the supported phones. I have a Cingular 8125, which works fine, but it doesn't support downloading of its phonebook to my car. For details on other phones, go to:

If you get a blackberry from work, it's like you never get to go home. People will pin you at times that they woundn't even think about calling you. I got rid of my crackberry a few months ago and I need a fix. Once you've had one everything else just sucks. I think I'm going to get the blackberry pearl in a couple months.

My HP iPAQ 6945 works flawlessly with the bluetooth. I turn on the car and right away it recognizes the phone and connects before I even put the car in reverse or drive.

I have this model and i havent really experienced much trouble at all. I have had more issues with the phone just deciding to lock up at times than witht he bluetooth.

I did experience a weird issue with my address book displaying on the car.. But I am blaming it on me having the 6700 and Razr both.

Anyone have the pearl? It's on my short list and most likely to get. It would be nice to know people have had good luck with it.

Actually, I just checked the Infiniti site and it's not listing instructions for the pearl?

I-mobile 902 is the best phone in the world by far, made in asia but phone and manual, etc., are in english. It's affordable at $330 on ebay, very small at 100g and highest build quality, with a powerful 1100mah battery, works on any gsm network like Cingular/ATT or T-mobile. It has an amazing 5 megapixel ccd camera with xenon flash and multiple effects that's better than many dedicated digital cameras, DVD quality 640x480 VGA 30 frames per second video and sound recording, mp3 music player with high quality sony earphones and handsfree that can connect any headphones through universal jack, fm radio, games and thumb joystick, plenty of memory and upgradeable with micro SD card which fits g35's slot, bluetooth, etc. The major phone makers intentionally keep good phones from the US (and euro) market to keep expectations low and production costs down, don't play along with their cynical games. You want a luxury car, why get a phone from US makers that is so worthless they're giving it away and the equivalent of a trabant or yugo? Who needs an ipod, iphone, PSP, digital camera, camcorder and phone when i-mobile 902 has it all, nobody has that many pockets. Anyone want to get the i-mobile 902 bluetooth phone and test it on the new Infiniti g35?

Here's a good review linked, btw don't hold your breath for sony or anyone else to release a comparable phone in USA for years. They've had the capability for years like samsung and LG's 7-10 megapixel camera phones for asia only but they all refuse to even plan decent phones for the US market. You can be the only one in your city with the rolls royce of phones:

where you can get it new, unopened, and cheap on ebay:

Your opinion. So according to you no US maker can make a good cell phone? Whatever. Did you actually write the review or do you sell the phone on ebay? "You can be the only one in your city with the rolls royce of phones" Sure sounds like spam to me.

No integrated QWERTY keyboard? Sorry waste of time to me. The CDMA data transfer rates (Sprint/Verizon) in the US are far superior to GSM like Cingular's EDGE so GSM is a non-starter for heavy data users. I already have a 10MP camera so I dont care how good the camera is. My Treo battery is 2400mh so that pummels the battery in this phone. My Treo has a 4GB SD card that holds all the MP3s I need.

I don't sell any phones, I just want to see how i-mobile 902 bluetooth works with infiniti g35. Treo weighs 180g so is almost twice as big as i-mobile 902, plus treo only has 0.3-1.3 megapixel camera, so you would have to carry around another hefty digital camera with you wherever you go, overloading the pockets already loaded down with wallet, keys, phone, etc. QWERTY can keep you leashed to the office even on what's supposed to be your down time. I-mobile 902 is just a fun phone that frees you from having to carry an ipod, radio, camera, PSP, camcorder, etc., because it's all in one small, inexpensive, high quality camera phone.
