Hello there this is my first post and just joined and I have a black G35x I'm about to order if all the dealers I asked can't find what I want, but I'm planning to get new rims almost immediately after I get my car. Will 20" rims work/fit with the AWD? I wanted some deep dish lookin' lips, and wanted to know the compatibility.

most people I know with awd usually go with the same size offsets all around. Usually not big lips in the rear.. rather, the same lip on all four. Not too sure it's going to work.. however, I could be wrong.

thats right it is not recommended to stagger your set-up with the AWD. You could still go to 20s but you should run the same size tire and rim front and back (roughly the same OD as stock)

Ah, thanks. Yeah, I was aiming for the same lip size all around, no size differences front or back. I was thinking of Sevas S22's that are 8.5" wide. What size tires would fit those? Sorry, not very knowledge about these things, gotta learn them. Any help would be appreciated (and sorry for hijacking this thread to the original poster)

That should be nice. I was planning on running a 245/45R18 on my 8.5 x 18s front and back once the winter is over.

If you were running 8.5 x 20 rims a 245/35R20 should be almost identical to the diameter of your stock 225/55R17 tires that come stock on the 07 G35X

What offsets did you get?

Make sure you don't get wheels for the Coupe - they wont fit.

If you were asking me, my offsets are 42mm for the 8.5 x 18" rims.
