+1, I would definitely give 1 pt. for the M's DVD based audio system.

From the rumors, the M will be going through a face lift very soon making the 06M out dated quicker.

Any more info on this out there? Always thought the front areo on the M (be nice if they had something different on the sport model like the G) was too plain.

I personally prefer the handling of the G. On M boards I've noticed that a few M owners are trading their cars for the new G, and others are thinking about it. The M had a much larger advantage over the old G in terms of interior ambiance.

Depends on what you're looking for.

Comfort, More Luxurious, etc... M35.

Sporty, Faster, yet [entry level] luxurious... G35 Sport.

I drove both of them and found the M was a very nice vehicle -- handled and performed well, interior was fairly roomy. However, I felt the M's styling and exterior dimensions did not fit "me" or my personality. The M is a nice alternative to 5-series BMWs and E-class Mercs, so I think if I were a bit older (sorry) then maybe I might choose the M but I thought it was too big and looked too "mature" for MY taste. I felt the design of the G was more cohesive. IMO, it looked sexier, sportier, and less upright as compared to the M. Like everyone else says, both are great cars but it will really come down to your needs and what matches your personality better. Good luck with your decision, you'll have to keep us posted on what you decide on!

I understand the "older" thing, believe me. I guess a combo of the first year depreciation, the small trunk, and a second kid on the way has brought me to this point. I've seen '06 M35's with limited miles for under 32K, which by my reckoning makes them an absolute steal.
