14 city 20 highway. Dealer has looked at it and is calling Infiniti about why it is so bad.

Audiophile: what's your mileage at?

I'm at 3400 miles today, this tank is looking even better, with 140 miles on the tank it says I have 275 left, which will put me over 20 by a little bit more and this is with winter gas and the coldest days we've seen this year. I suspect the low fuel economy is due to break in, as I approach 4k quickly my fuel economy is getting better. My driving is mixed 80/20 highway/city

Good to see.. but I think the sumer-time gas is worse for mileage due to it being more oxygenated to help fight ozone.
Cooler fuel is also more dense so you get more for your $$$
The fact you are seeing better mileage is most likely due to break-in on the engine and drivetrain components.

This time of year you get "winter" gas up here which is designed to be better for winter conditions, and it always reduces fuel economy a bit.

I have a 6MT and mixed driving (appx 50/50) I got 21.5 mpg on my last tank and I only have 850 miles on it, so I hope to get better mileage as I break the car in.

I'm getting about 23 commuting miles between Buena Park and Corona California. I want better, but I guess I shouldn't complain.

has been 20 mpg for every tank so far. Mostly fast highway commuting. 2200 miles at the moment.

I would love to be getting better but I'm sure the AWD, 80 mph commuting, and cold weather are contributing.

If I baby my X and drive mostly highway, I can get around 20. Normal mixed, and driving it like I want to, I get maybe 16-17.

Sucks. But... not bad for an AWD car in winter with 306 HP and driving it aggressively I suppose.

One thing I've noticed with mine, is my mileage barely decreases on the highway from 70 to 80 mph. Sweet, now I just go 80!
