One of the things I have not been really happy about it the quality of the
floormats in the 2007 G35. Very thin. The mat's in my '03 were much heavier (carpet in '07 is not much better IMHO).

Anyway, I had planned on getting black factory mats. Thought it would be a good contrast with my stone interior.

Question is, will the earlier heaver '03 - '06 G35 mats fit in the '07?

This EBAY auction is showing that the '06 and '07 mats are the same?

The mats on this auction look like the older heavier style?

I placed my order with my dealership for graphite (black) carpeted mats, which, like you said, would make a great contrast to my stone interior as well. I already spilled some sauce on the back right passenger carpet, so I need to cover up the stain asap. Plus, unlikes the OUTSIDE of the car, black carpet inside hides stains and dirty very well. Someone here had < '07 all weather mats. They did not fit perfectly, but do-able. So I'm assuming the carpet mat is the same situation.

The older mats will not fit. I tried my 05 mats and it was a no go .
03/04 mats were not even the same as 05/06 mats.
You will have to get 07 mats
