I just reached 3000 miles and about an hour ago took my car in for its first oil change. It took about an hour and a half with oil change and washing, i got the car back and jumped in and went home. When I got home I notice it looks like someone took sandpaper all across the car!!! None of these scratches were there before, I know I cleaned the car about 3 days before, WHAT THE FVCK JIM COLEMAN INFINITI?! Do not let the dealership wash yor car!
Ill post pics when I find my camera, FVCK IM PISSED

Did you try to resolve it with the service dept?
I called and was given to client relations manager, who did not pick up, I left a stern but civilized message.

Any reasonable dealership should offer to wax and buff your car free of charge - just be persistant.

The potential problem here is that kraqcommando already drove it home.
It *could* be argued that he caused the problem and is trying to pin it on the dealership.
Still, you have nothing to lose, I'd go back and argue your case!.

awww man that sucks big time kraq
. Hopefully it will buff out.
I would suggest getting them to pay to get the car buffed and detailed at a Detailers of your choice.
NEVER EVER let the Dealer wash your car. They have it written down in big print on my Service record.

Wow, that sucks!! It's a good reminder for all of us not to let the dealer wash our cars.
The same thing happened to my friends 330i, but they took it upon themselves to buff it out with a rotary buffer. It turned out that there was a rock or something stuck in the buffer pad and they left real deep swirls all over the hood and roof of his car. He demanded that they repaint the car and they agreed but only did the hood and the roof which left a color mismatch. Right away he didn't accept it and they agreed to paint the whole car. When they went to give it back they didn't want to pay to replace his Clear bra and he had to fight with the dealership for about a month over the $700 bill for the replacement. It all worked out in the end, but it was a huge hassle.
Like Wayne said I would demand that they pay for detailing at a detailer of your choice.

Sorry to hear that bro!
Take the car back and have them do something about it.
That's why I never let my dealership wash the car. They use these damn broomsticks to scrub the cars with. They don't even ask me anymore. The reps always mark the service order with bold DO NOT WASH! writing.

Well they told me that I should have pointed it out before I left the dealership, after a lot of talking, I got the oil change for free and I told them not to wash my car next time or ever again, tomorrow if it doesn’t snow I’m going to was and wax and see how it looks.
I just hope that if any good can come out of this its that it will remind everyone: don’t trust the stealership….
