Will this rim size cause rubbing?

I wanted to get me a set of DPE wheels but was wondering will this fit my G35 Journey, 20x8.5 (F) and 20x10(R) with Toyo T1-R 245/35/20 +38 offset and 275/30/20 +43 offset including a H&R drop? I dont want to roll my fenders.

Thanks in advanced
Eric

try a +25 if possible. But if you are not lowered to much you should be fine.

with a 10" wheel in the rear you'll definitely have to roll your fenders if you're dropped at all. Its not hard, accordfreak did a DIY, all you need is a blow dryer and a pvc pipe.

But the wheels with those offsets and tires will fit.

20x10 in back would be interesting to find out if it works. A couple of others here are in the process of trying this.

20x9.5, +43, 275/30 will work for sure w/no rubbing.

20x8.5, +35, 245/35 will work for sure w/no rubbing.

Hope this helps. Please post results.

Bonus on the 07 sedan: The fenders are already "rolled".

Thanks, I will post results ASAP. Not too many people have tried this setup so i am very hesitant to try it. If possible i really dont want to roll the fenders. DPE only comes in 20x10 for the rears, they dont make 20x9.5. How are Sevas and which one rim and color combo would go well on a 2007 G35 sedan Ivory Pearl?

First Pic: Sevas S22 20"
2nd Pic: Sevas s55 20"
3rd Pic: iForged trial 20"

Thanks so much

Eric

i received my DPEs about a week ago.. 20x10 20x8.5... with 285/30 and 255/35.. I rolled my rear fenders so that's not a problem but the front i'm having rubbing problems.... i'm going to see if i can modify the plastic lining in the wheel well.

edit: oh yeah i'm lowered about 1.5" or so.

oops.. i just realized this is for a sedan.. haha sorry

any of those would look great, but 20" Sevas wheels only come in 10" wide applications as well. But they have a +40 offset which will push the wheel out even more. The DPE setup is a good setup, and i wasnt aware that the fenders are already rolled on the 07sedan so if that's the case, you wont have any problems rubbing in the rear, it will be very close but shouldnt rub. If it's too close for comfort, when you get an alignment done, you can have them dial in the negative camber a little bit to bring the wheel in more.

There is another thread going right now with an 07 w/10" in back, but I'm not sure of the offsets.

If you check out Marcel's thread, you will see that 20x10 +40 in the rear does not fit properly and sticks outside of the wheel well.

20x10 +43 most likely wouldn't work well either as Railgunner's 19x9.5 +40 sticks outside the wheel well about 1/4".

Check out Hikos G's ride in this thread:

https://g35driver.com/forums/media-share-v36-sedan/134220-pics-2nd-gen-sedans-aftermarket-rims.html

IMO, Hikos G's rims/tires are perfectly sized for the 07 G35 sedan. Check out his pictures and I'm sure you will agree. He's running: 20x8.5 +35 F and 20x9.5 +43 R with 245/35/20 F 275/30/20 R tires.

if the car isnt lowered then they will stick out of the fenders, once the car is lowered they will lean inward's and be flush with the fenders, or if you are lowered enough, they will tuck under.
