i have the same phone and had the same problem. i deleted the phone from the car and the car from the phone then re-paired it. after that i had to turn off/on the phone once and it hasnt done it since *knocks on wood*

I have a Motorola Q and the bluetooth works flawlessly. By the time I start the engine the phone's already connected. I've had the car for about a month now.
