Question Is the Premium Package sound worth it?

I'm trying to decide whether to get the premium package or not. Has anyone noticed much difference in sound quality with the non-premium package stereo vs. the Bose premium package stereo? Since it's a Bose, I figure it'll be like the previous Bose systems.....not very good! The other features in the premium package are nice but I don't know if I would die without them since I live in CA so there's no immediate need for seat warmers or heated mirrors.

How about any discernable difference in the stereo sound quality? The other threads didn't say much about that.

I'm leaning towards putting in my own stereo upgrade, which makes the heated seats/memory seats/sun roof not so attractive for the cost.

Fair point - I wanted the other stuff, so didn't test any without SoW, sorry.

As you probably know ... there is a lot of debate about the SOW. I personally like it, but because it's so subjective, you should go to a dealer and listen for yourself using a CD you are familiar with. Or ... meet up with one of the enthusiasts in this forum who probably know more about the car than most dealers (except DM).
