In what universe is NY sales tax 4%? LOL. It's actually 8.375%.

Jeez, I would take 8.375% in a heartbeat......it beats the 14% I had to pay.

is a good friend of mine in Denmark who bought a new Civic a few years ago. The purchase price was ~$US 14k. The sales tax was 180% (yes 1-8-0), so the darn Honda cost roughly 40 grand. That is more than my G cost me OTD.

DAMN! Here I am pissin' and moanin' about 6% sales tax. I think I'll be thankful now.
