Thumbs up Finally pulled the trigger! G35S on the way!

After lurking on this forum for a couple of months, I finally made the decision to get the G35 Sport.

I'm coming from two BMW's (3 & 5 series) and I know a lot of my friends/family will think I'm downgrading. After driving the G35S and seeing how advanced it is, the decision was pretty easy.

I was lucky to find an auto G35 Sport with Tech, Navi, Premium, and splash guards coming in at my local dealer. After haggling a bit, I got them to come down to $36,665 ($3,175 off MSRP). Not too shabby!

I look forward to being a first time Infiniti owner and hope I can add some input to this forum.

Thanks everyone for all your help!

Yeah, we had a Mercedes Benz and are VERY happy with the G35 as well. Get some pics up as soon as you get it though.

It's coming on 2/16. Hopefully it won't get delayed.

I will definitely take some pictures.

-Quick/easy to use navigation: BMW is horrible and slow. Idrive is horrible.
-comfortable seats: My 5 series gave me back pain
-Japanese reliability: In and out of BMW Dealer w/problems
-latest gadgets: rear camera, music HD, intelligent key
-decent size; not too big, not too small
-fast with good amount of torque: I had a 530i and it needed more power
-excellent braking
-handling
-appearance; IMO, best looking in its class

Few things I will miss:
-rain sensors
-heated steering wheel
-BMW cachet

Congrats on the car! IP is the best color for sure! Glad you didn't get IP/Graphite, so far I don't know anyone else with that color combo, and I like it that way :-)

$36,665 OTD? If that's the case, then yeah you got a great deal. I paid $36K OTD for a 6mt with Premium in California where sales tax is 8.25% compared to New York's 4%. In any case, congrats on your new G.
