Unlock button light out?

I noticed the other night when I turned on my lights, that either there is no light on the unlock button near the window switches, or mine is burned out 3 weeks into ownership. Can anyone else verify?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

I don't think that it lights up. Ours doesn't, and we've had if for exactly a week.

Same thing for me too, it seems kind of weird because it looks broken.

I noticed the same thing for the first time yesterday as well. Mine do not light up either. I am guessing Infiniti designed it that way, though I do not know why.

because they feel its more important that you know where to lock the door than unlocking the door at night.

Cool Trip Odometer Button Doesn't Light Either!

Apparently, that's the way the lock buttons are designed. Mine is the same. I think it is odd, as well.

Also, has anyone noticed that the reset button for the Trip Odometers doesn't light up either? Maybe because you really can't see it without looking around the steering wheel? This seems strange to me as well.

Can anyone confirm?

Regards,

The button is definitely designed that way. If you look CLOSELY at the switch during the day, you'll notice that the white "lock" symbol is actually clear (to allow the white light to shine through), and the white "unlock" symbol is actually "painted" on top of the switch (and thus is dark at night).

talking about trip odometers, does anyone know how to reset the "upper" odometer above the total in the summary screen(with time counter, and avg speed? or mpg?)

There are buttons on either side of the gauge cluster (I hadn't noticed them at first, either). The buttons on the right sight of the gauge cluster control these functions, and the ones on the left control the brightness of the meter displays. The top right button scrolls through the options, and the bottom right button is used to reset the functions.

Similarly, the top left button increases the meter display brightness and the bottom left button decreases the brightness.
