xm stations... how can i show all the stations on the screen?

isn't there a guide or menu that lists all the xm stations that i can scroll through?

audi does this with sirrius (don't know about xm)... i don't have 200 stations memorized (!), so it would be nice to see a listing to scroll through (other than the 6 presets).

thanks!

I can't answer your question. But there's a .pdf of all the channels you can print out and keep in your car.

This is on my wish list for the stereo, that and the ability to scroll through them (and mp3 song titles) and then select the channel (song) you want, rather than it changing as soon as you start scrolling.

Same here!

I dont mind scrolling around, but don't freaking change the song/station just because I'm browsing.

This is one thing I miss about the SkyFi2, you could see a few stations on either side of the one you were on as well as what was playing at that time

The G35 system doesn't show you the title/artist of the current selection?

Yes, it does.

Only thing I miss from a standalone unit was the ability to save a favorite song or artist and then be alerted whenever they were played on any station. At least it was this way with Sirius and a standalone unit.

Yes, you can see both the title and artist of the current song playing. There is a "text" button the on the screen you can touch to display that info.

Thanks!
Is it possible to make that the default? When on XM screen, I would always want to see the artist. Or would I always need to press "text"?
I tend to listen to the "upcoming artist" stations, and have often never heard the song before.

Not that I'm aware. But you can hit the status button and that will always show the artist playing on the station. The status screen also shows other info about the car that you choose such as fuel economy.

Once you get to the XM station of your choice, just press "text" and leave it there. I will continue to display the artist/song title until you change the station.

I gave you a solution already. Why someone would want to scroll through 200 stations is beyond me.
