Maybe this will help....
That's not the 07 G...

I may be wrong but I don't think that's the 07 model on Tirerack's site. Would love to see them update it though.

^ ^ oops...didn't see the last page

The Tirerack app is frustrating. I want to see a certain wheel on the car but it doesn't come up as a choice. Does that mean it's impossible to get that one? ....dreams dashed

So far every pic I have seen with aftermarket wheels on the 07 G look pretty bad imo. If and whn I get a G and decide to put wheels on it, I am not going to be a cheapskate. I will make sure I have an option to pick and choose after I see them on the car. If nobody will let me do that I won't get new wheels. I feel bad for the folks who get aftermarket wheels only to realize they don't look so good on their car and no option to swap them out.

I don't think you'll find any place that will let you mount them before purchase. But I know what you mean. You never can tell till their on. I just blew over $3,000.00 on rims and tires and have no idea if i'll like them on or not.

Trey's Wife,
How about these?
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...=Sport+Package

You could also look at the Ace Manta, they look similar to the Brabus wheels you posted.

Here is another wheel to check out :

^^ We're considering the ASA wheels. They do look a lot like those AMG Merc wheels. I just don't know how that finish will go with the blue slate color of the car. Also I'm having difficulty with the offsets. If the OE tires are removed and put on the ASA wheels, then the fronts should be about 3mm further out, and the rears should be 8mm further out, correct?

I did see those ASA's. I have thought about those too. I'm also looking at the Status RR slims but I still keep going back to the SSR's. I found the Enkei wheels that I wanted before on Ebay but the problem is that they only come in 7.5" wide and I want to go at least 8". There are so many options and I won't have my car for a while so I'm still pondering. I also like the Yokohama Model 5's and I have gotten some quotes on them as well but that are running basically the same as the SSR's.

I think Trey is ready to strangle me. LOL I'm driving him nuts but I guess turn about is fair play, right?

The ASA's look good but they are a cheap wheel, as far as how they're made. Can't lose with the SSR's. A true 3 piece forged as opposed to the ASA poseur 3 piece look.

Get the black ones.

It should look fine on blue slate.

Sorry for my absence (someone has to run the house here!) but I'm not convinced. I would like black wheels but I'm worried that it will clash with the slate color. Like having colors in a house that neither match nor contrast at all - it just seems too flat.

If it had less gray in the color it would be fine. I'm too up in the air to do anything right now. I'm too busy at the moment getting Trey to lay off about canceling the order and getting an '08. The only thing that would make me do that is them bringing back the Twilight Blue as a color option.

So, it's been forever, but I finally decided. I just couldn't do it - I had to spend the money and get the wheels I was dying over for over a year and a half now. Now, to just get the car here.
