Fellow 2007 G35 Owners,

I was looking through the User's Manual, and in the 'Vehicle Information and Settings' Section, it refers to an option called "Precision Phased Audio" (Pg 4-14) under Audio Settings. Apparently, it is supposed to it is supposed to emphazise "super highs and lows", while the midrange is "played naturally".

It is also referenced as "if so equipped", but when I navigated to this screen this option does not appear.

My car has the Bose "Studio on Wheels", so I am not sure what option you need to have to have access to "Precision Phased Audio". Is this for the base audio system?

It's the missing bass boost function. Feng says it's not needed so I guess they decided to just leave it out.

John Feng is the chief engineer/designer of the G35 Bose "Studio on Wheels".

 

I believe "Feng" is one of the Chief Bose technicians that designed the SOW.

He's usually on the boards, haven't seen him lately though...
