little things

One of the little things I love about the G is the way auto gear shift feels so solid as you pull it through the positions. Most cars I've driven just click through, but this one just feels good.

anybody have other favorites?

There's lots I like about the G35, but if we want to keep this thread focused on "little things", one thing I like is that the manuals come in a case that can be velcroed to the trunk. Same with the first aid kit.

Oh, one more little thing - I like the "secret" compartment in the rear seat.

Haha, I finally found out that there was a secret compartment back there in my coupe last weekend when I was cleaning my car. I forget how I stumbled upon it but I was like "what the fvck" the dealer never told me about it.

But to add to this post I have the Orange Stitch on the steering wheel, Nice touch!

I like the gauges... I leave them on bright settings at night, know I shouldn't cause they are so bright, but they just look so good.

The flip down arm rest in the rear has a little compartment. My 03 had it as well.

As for little things, I absolutely love the LED lights that shine on the console at night. A VERY nice touch IMO.

Hahaha, I kinda figured you'd mention those Alex!

Another little thing I like about the 07 is the placement of the dipstick! It's no longer a PITA.

Hahaha, yeah I'm predictable.

Don't own a G as you know but I don't think the dipstick could be any easier to reach.

Hmmm, little things...
  • Like having auto windows on all four
  • Like the bi-xenon lights
  • Intelligent key? That probably doesn't qualify as "little" tho
  • Love that there's a little handhold inside the trunk lid, so no fingerprints on the trunk
  • And the paddles? Oh, the paddles...

I also like the feel of the volume/AC ***** and the AC buttons.

And, while some have commented to me that the blue color accents on the gauges look tacky, I really like them. If you stare at them long enough, the numbers appear to float.

BTW, where is the secret compartment? Is it hard to find? I looked and couldn't find it. Maybe its not offered for cars in Korea.
