Wow! My new Black obsidian G35 S

Well guys, I traded in my 2005 F-150 Lariat and got 1 of these bad boys and all I can say is Freakin Incredible!!!!!!!!!! I love this car. I look forward to interacting with everyone on here for a long time..... Pics below.... I just noticed that my G35 has a Grey/Dark Grey pinstripe that I haven't seen on other
G's...... I'm not sure if I like it yet but I can always have it taken off...

Congrats on the new Ride! I traded in my 98 F-150 for a new G also! LOL, and i think the car looks much better without that Pinstripe. But thats jus me and Damn that Black looks so Glossy! Sometimes makes me wish i got Black, but is just so hard to keep it looking like that, but is so Sweet looking when all shined up! Enjoy

Awesome ride fellow G-man.

I have never seen a stripe either. Not even on the website. I would take it off as well, but only if it does not mess up the paint and make things look bad. They better do a good job..dont want to mess up the black beauty.

Sweet ride, Congrats! Welcome to Driver!!

I would lose the stripe for sure, it just doesn't fit this car. IMO it takes away from the smooth natural lines that make the 07 a winner.

I LOVE IT!
The pinstripe distracts from the design angle already on the car...
I'd lose it.

But DAMN the black is HOT!!!! What's the interior??

Awsome! Great choice on the Color. February is the month of the BO! I would probably take off the pin stripe as well. What packages did you get? is it a AT or 6-MT? Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks for all the feedback guys....... I will now be trading in my G35 for a Lexus IS 350 because of this forum....... Just kidding........ I would love to remove the pinstripe but I just finished looking at it and it's painted on.... on top of the clearcoat of course.. How could I remove a pinstripe that has been painted on?

bring it back to the dealer and have the body shop buff it out. I wouldn't chance doing it on your own as you really need a machine to do it, and if you don't know how to use a machine it could damage the paint.

Was it a custom order for someone else, and they backed out?
Just curious how it (pinstripe) got there in the first place...
