I had a folding (accordian-type) sunshade from my 2003 Coupe that I put into my 2007 and it fits pretty nicely. Not a perfect fit, but I'm pretty happy with it.
It fits easily and is held in place well by the visors. UVS100 Heat Shield by covercraft.

Anyway, after doing a search on this forum as well as freshalloy, I found a post that talked about this place: http://www.autosunshields.com/
Their product looks like to could be pretty good since it's custom fit and looks like they fit close to the window. I contacted them since they didn't list a product for the 07 sedan. They had me make templates based on my car and send them in. I should be getting the sunshades this week and will post pictures.
Well, we finally had nice enough weather in the portland area to make me get my car washed and take some pictures. See the attached photos to see what they look like. I like them a lot. As you can see, they make them for not only the windshield, but also the front windows. I like how they are the same size as the glass and therefore do not rely on the sun visors to keep them in place. The only negative I can think of these over a more traditional sun shade is they do take up a little more room when you roll them up since they are bigger/bulkier. However, I can easily say these sunshades are the best at blocking out light over any other custom solution I have seen.

Yes, they did take care of me since I provided them with the template for the car. I only had to pay shipping.

Fantastic. So, if I contact them, will they still have all the information for your car? Is the template for the 2007 G35 on their website?
Thanks for the pics. I planning on buying one...

Yeah, I'm not sure why they haven't updated their website to include the 2007 sedan. Go ahead and contact them. You should be able to order it.

CoverKing

CoverKing (Coverking.com)just made a template for the 07 Sedan. I picked up the prototype shade this morning.

Rolls on window and stays up with friction fit.

Pictures please. This 86 degree Southern California weather sucks.

Sunshade pictures

See below.

The shade fits without having to flip down the visor.

The company gave me the prototype for "volunteering" my car for measurement....

Looks pretty good. However, I'm surprised to see how much light is coming through it!

Don't know how well it works yet

I'm working in Corona and the temp is currently 86. I'll know more on its effectiveness when I leave work.

Doesn't limo = 5% ?

25% is not too dark at all... granted on the windshield it's way too dark
