How do you Lock and Unlock the car when you have passengers?

It's funny how the definition of "pain in the @ss" changes over time.
Anyone remember the '70's? - unlocking with a key (after scratching the paint while finding the keyhole in the dark),
then reaching across the car to pull up the lock stems on the other door(s).
Not to mention manually re-locking everything when you parked...
carrying lock de-icer all winter...
different keys for ignition/doors and trunk...
keys that had to be right-side-up...
Geez, I'm gettin' old.
