How do you have your presets setup?
How do you have your presets setup?
Curious as to how others have their A,B, and C presets setup?
Initially, I have A set to my favorite FM stations, B set to favorite XM stations, and C not really setup well at all with just one AM and a couple other XM stations.
I find this isn't the best setup for me. There's really only one FM station I care to listen to and it's talk radio. Same with AM. XM I have alot of favorites. I find myself toggling between all of these all the time. And to make matters worse, you have to toggle between the music box and CF to cycle through the presets.
So I'm thinking of putting the one FM, the one AM and my most listened to XM stations on A, and then use B and C for all other XM stations. This way I can just go up and down for my most commonly listened to stations and only have to cycle through the other sources occasionally.

I've set mine up like this:
A - Favorite XM stations, one FM station (NPR) and one AM station (660) sports
B - Two FM stations that I occasionally listen to and more XM stations to fill it up
C - Empty for now, but will be where I store either more favorite XM stations if I find them, or for FM stations when I'm outside my local area on a road trip, like a temp favorites.
only have the car a few days I have primarily been listening off the CF cards. and doubt I'll switch off Presets A too often.

a = me
b = wife
c = me, info oriented (traffic/weather/news)
all are a mix of sat and terrestrial radio

I have more music then I know what to do with at this point. Over 29,000 songs. Somehow I catch all of the new music even without listening to any form of radio and not watching MTV or FUSE.
A - XM rock / alternative stations (including both Fred and Ethel)
B - XM other music stations
C - XM news (CNN, CNBC) and comedy.
I can't believe people still listen to terrestial radio in 2007.
Of course, the above presets will all change once I swap out the XM unit for the Sirius one.
