Well after reading the many questions here and having finally figured out how the to turn the tracking on/off, my questions is what can you do with these routes?

When I turn tracking on, it correctly sees the route I take to/from work. This is great because there are a few side streets I use that is the best way to go but the nav doesn't pick this exact route IE - when I select my office as the destination and it picks a route, it only picks from its three choices (quickest, shortest, etc). Which is just a *bit* off.

Is there a way to save a route that has been tracked? Couldn't find anything about it in the menus today when I got home so thought I would throw it out there.

 

yes, set the route that you want and then select "route information" and there's an option to store it. I did the same thing for my commute and even added a way point for my usual stop for coffee. when you store it, it gives it a name, you can then go to address book/stored routes and rename it.

 

You can do this with tracking on as well? I am really not following the route that the nav sets which is why I couldnt find a save option when I got home tonight.
