Chicago area. My grill looks like hell already. Dealer is going to talk to factory rep. I told him this was unacceptable in a car that is 3 months old.

I've already noticed a few nicks and the sort in the grill already.

Waxing will not offer any sort of protection against road debris and rocks.

I think the only solution here is to have a metal one in place of the stock one.

If there were a quality chromed aluminum replica of the grille, I'd snap one of those up for sure.

Hopefully someone will make one, because eventually we will all want one.

I'm going to go to the dealer tommorrow and see what they say. I'll push it with them, but as a last resort I'll go to insurance and complain about excessive sand on the roads I guess.

I'm curious ... if someone were to come out with a metal / chrome version of the stock grill, would there be interest? I think I would prefer the stock design over a mesh design. Maybe I'm too old and out of touch, but to me, the mesh designs look better on the larger sedans and not the sport sedans.

Yes my grill after 3,000 miles looks like it needs to be replaced. Infiniti should look into this. If everyone goes to their dealer and complains maybe they will listen.

Your grill looks like crap - but so does your paint...

How many miles & what kind of roads??

Just regular city roads. And I'm at about 7600km. Unless I'm tailgating a gravel truck for all of those kilometers , it shouldn't look like that. The grill or the paint.

I would be interested in a metal one. I too prefer the stock one over mesh. My only problem is I shouldn't have to fork out any more $ to fix it. On a car this expensive it should be a little more durable. Notice the emblem doesn't have a mark on it!

Wow! You're front end sure took a beating! I would've hoped the paint job was more durable than that.

Exactly, except for the morons that cut in front of me , if I think there is anything on the road i keep a distance. Nothing that should have caused this already.

I would most definitely be interested in an aftermarket version of the stock grille. I love the stock grille and have zero interest in grilles like the Stillen.

I lied. It's a nice day here today so I washed the car to get some of the salt off of it. I noticed two decent size nicks in the grille. **Sigh**
