My build date was Sept 6th, so still pretty early. It seems like the guys just getting their G now isn't succeptible to this mismatch in color.
Oops! Sorry Canuck!

I've got an early build date with some yellowish pieces as well.

Mine build date was 10/06. Don't see any yellowish. I'm just leaving now when I get out of the garage into the daylight I'll look even closer and from all angles.

My X was born in 09/06 and I honestly can not see any yellowish colour. I sat outside in my driveway for about 5 minutes just staring at the aluminum and now my neighbours probably think I'm a nut case.

If you have it you will notice it. On my car it is real easy to see the difference.

Mine seems the same all around.... we picked our X up in February, not sure when it was built though. I'll check later.

I just checked the loaner I have and it does appear to have a yellowish tint.

I got it too. It wasn't obvious on a cloudy day. But it got sunny on the third day and it was too obvious. The aluminum trim on the front (the sword like trim near the glovebox) is yellow compared to the gearshifter trim and the door trim.

Can I complain?

In a thing i got in the mail...it had a fold out that was gold and it talked about the washi paper. It gave a little history of the paper and said that it was gold something..i dont know i forgot what it said.. did anyone else get this little handout in the mail from infiniti? it has a booklet and someother stuff like a folder thats like a wave with holes cut out on it? (ok really bad description but its hard to describe this thing)

anyways i think it mention that the paper has a gold tint to it due to the properties of the washi paper. hope that helps. or maybe in just certain lighting

The piece above the glove box on mine seems to sometimes have a yellowish cast to it. I think it has to do with how the light and reflections interact with the scratched up washi aluminum. Or, maybe my car just has jaundice.

I have the same problem. Do you think Infiniti would correct this? I'm concerned that it would look worse "fixed up". It would seem easier to replace the door pieces, but they appear to be the "correct" color Have anyone addressed this w/ their dealer. I'm getting service on Friday, I'll mention the problem (along w/ the grill).
