Voice Mail Dial Problem - dropping last digit

Just got my new G. Just from the first couple of days it's well worth the wait.

I've been running into a problem with the voice dialing that I'd like to see if anyone else is seeing. When I speak the numbers the car inevitably drops the last number. It doesn't miss any of the earlier numbers and it doesn't seem to be specific to any number. No matter what the last number is 95% of the time the car doesn't catch it and I have to add it.

Anyone else see this problem and is there a setting that controls how long the car listens for the last voice input?

Yup ... I noticed the same thing. I just say the first 3 numbers and pause for the system to ask for the next numbers.

Are you saying all the numbers including area code or just the seven local digits? The system seems to require all 10 digits to get the recognition right.

I tried using 10 digits and it seems to work much better. For some reason the car seems to expect either 6 or 10 digits. go figure.
