I live in Simi Valley,CA. (Ventura County in SoCal). Does anyone know of any good reliable tinting places? I'll probably go with 35% on the doors...god im so giddy about this car.

California Tint & Auto on Parthenia and Reseda is the place that I go to tint all my cars...great friendly people, and they do good work! take a look maybe an hour after they open the store and you'll be able to see some cars they are working on...

You should check out Tint Master City in Canoga Park. It's off Canoga Ave. about a mile north of Victory on the west side of Canoga. I paid $230 for 20% all around and 50% windshield. www.tintmastercity.com

 

I know I'm a little out of touch, but, when you guys say you tint your windshields, are you talking about the whole windshield, or just the upper part?

 

Both. The top part of the windshield is tinted to look more like a visor.

 

well, I dont have an exact quote on an 07 G, but when they did my friends Accord sedan, they charged about $130 for all around (without windshield)

 

Sounds kinda low to me. I normally hear between $200 and $300 (no windshield) for quality work. What ever you do, don't let anyone take your car apart to put on the tint! It is not necessary.

 

I'd let these guys do it! They did ERIC ESTRADA's for God's sake!

 

California Tint is pretty good. Got my 06 done for 130 but if you plan on going there on a weekend go there very early or plan on leaving your car there for half a day as they get very busy on weekends.

 

I got my Audi tinted at "Distinctive" there off of Ventura Ave. There right by the VW dealer and this mexican restaurant. I can't remember the name the street is like Alambama or something close to that-between de soto and canoga. They did a great job and when the tint had bubbles they redid the whole car for me.

 

You must not live in the Valley...You mean Ventura Blvd and Alhama
