H&R Spring Availability?!?!

Where are you guys getting them? Are they still available? The dealer I was going through called today and told me that he can no longer get them, so, you guys let me know where I can get them and how much... Thanks!

I will be posting the first pics of my wheels tonight! I LOVE 'EM!! They might be dirty car pics though, might not be able to have it clean yet....

Are there any other options that would be a less aggressive drop? I honestly think I would like something in the 3/4" range. I dont want the rears to quite tuck, just a personal preference thing I guess. I saw where some people in the earlier model years had replaced the springs with the Coupe springs, can anyone accurately calculate what kind of drop that would achieve and if it would even work?? Just thought I would ask those of you who understand all of this much more than I do...

If you really like the HR springs, tell your dealer to get you the 2006 spring set.

Isn't the drop amount different for the 03-06? I think it lists 1.2/1.3 for the 03-06 sedan. IF anything, I want LESS drop. I would rather the wheels not quite tuck under the fender well.

Sorry, I thought you liked the H&R drop. Your best bet would be the Tein H-Techs for the 2006 sedan. Tein has not verified the fit on the 07 and is not scheduled to do so until about June 11th. No one will stop you if you want to be the first to buy and try them.

hmmmm.... I dont think I am that brave, especially not relying on someone else to install them, etc etc.

Up to you, but the risk is minimum since we know the 2006 H&R springs fit, the 2006 Tein H-Techs will fit. How the car untimately sits will be the big question. Good luck on your decision!

Tire Rack is one of the bigger distributors of H&R. You may want to check with them. The 350z spring mod might be the closest thing to the mild drop you're looking for. Seems like the Eibach and H&R drops are the most aggressive so far.

Although, as terrycs has mentioned, we have yet to see how low the Teins are, not to mention other numerous companies that may come out with lowering springs for the new G like Tanabe and Espelir.

Here's a good example of what I think you may be looking for when you say 'mild drop. I believe this car was running the OEM 350Z/coupe springs to get just the right amount of drop. Not sure if this is a members' car but I hope you don't mind me posting it up for visuals.

Perhaps some other members who have the 06 and older G's with the 350Z spring setup can vouch for the amount of drop on the sedans...?

Nice! Those wheels should go perfectly with the mild drop from the 350Z springs! Look forward to seeing your G when you're done!

I believe the older G's had a non-body color matte plastic piece along the bottom of the cars. Its not a body kit.

Thanks! I cannot wait to see it all done too!!! I think I am searching for Coupe/350Z springs now. I hope they work without any problems!! Lowering it less should make it easier to get it aligned within spec too I would imagine.

It hard to tell from your pics, but do your rears just barely start to tuck into the fender well? I would optimally like to keep a small seperation between the tire and opening... I just prefer that look. I think the Eibach kit looks terrible in the rear, but good in the front though...

Scratch that... I just ordered the H&Rs through Tirerack.com $261.14 shipped. Hopefully I will have them installed by early next week. I took a look at Railgunners car again and since I am running nearly the same size tires etc etc, I figured it should work out just fine! We will find out!!
