first gen G35 loaner vs '07

So my '07 is in to get the rear camera replaced from my rear end accident, and the wind noise on the rear passenger door, and the sunroof trim, and my car came from the factory with water spots on the gauge facing side of the clear plastic window (that brought a big WTF!?! look on the service guy when I mentioned that).

Got a first gen G35x loaner. No idea what year, but it's got 30k miles on it.
I have to say wow, the '07 is a HUGE HUGE step up in terms of just about everything. Ride comfort, acceleration response, interior look and feel, noise, creaks, etc etc etc.

I test drove a G35 the first year they were out when I was comparing it to the IS300 that I ended up going with, and I remember the G being sorta cheap inside, but I don't remember it being this cheap . Being in the '07 has really spoiled me rotten. hehe.

I took my 07 in for an oil change and got an 06 loaner (w/ 6000 miles). That is the first time I had stepped foot in a 1st gen. I have to agree there is a big difference between to the two, props to Infiniti for not simply doing a facia change. To me the interior was the biggest difference of all.

^^^^ +1000000. My loaner had only 3000 miles (my G has over 4000). I did like the sound of the '06 model. It sounded like it has a lot of pickup, but it's deceiving. The nav was also a POS. And I don't understand why the volume **** is on the right side of the head unit. I'd hit the shifter **** every time I reached for it.

^^^^^ +10000000000000... I drove an 06 loaner (7000 miles) for 2 days as they were installing the 3M Clear Bra on my 07 and they had some issues getting the material and I didn't care for the 06 at all..... I just felt cheap inside that car but the exterior looked pretty nice... I'm not sure how the chrome piece on the door handles would look on our 07's but I'm curious....
