The TPMS light came on yesterday and I went straight to a gas station to check the air pressure and correct the level to 33 (my right rear was low).

Now the TPMS light won't turn off. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I contact the dealer?

It should go off after you drive for a few miles over 25mph. If not, turn the car off, and back on again.

strange. the tpms light turned on in my car and my rear right tire was low (26psi), too. anyway, the light turned off after a little bit of driving.

that is reptty unsually. mine was also at 26 when i checked it (although that may have not been really accurate as i imagine the air guage at shell gas station may not have been great).

Well, here in the Northeast U.S., it's gotten quite cold these past few days. It was 42 degrees Fahrenheit last Saturday, and today, it's a high of 7 degrees. A large reduction in temperature can also lead to much lower tire pressures, so it's good to check your tire pressure if the last time you checked was in warm weather.

Mine came on when it got cold (for Houston), down to freezing. It stayed on even after airing up all of the tires (they weren't really low), and driving over 25 mph.

The dealer had to re-register the sensor, did it under warranty, took about 40 min.

SJ, Did you get the Nitro filled tires from the dealer? when you go in for your first oil change, let them know which tire you put air into so they can drain it and refill it with the Nitro.

i am not sure if they are notro filled. i have already long passed my first old change. i have had 4 already

I just spoke to Devan. I guess I just missed the boat on that. He mentioned that they started in late December with the Nitro filled. How good is it? Is it worth the 69 bucks they are going to charge me for it?

There's no way I would pay extra for nitrogen in my tires. How long have you had your car to have had 4 oil changes already?

I did a quick web search and found an article that seems pretty good about using nitrogen insead of regular air in your tires. LINK

Mine came on last night as well, but I attributed it to the low temperature outside (it was 8 degrees )
