Concerning to wheels

Greetings guys.
Already soon I shall become owner G35 AWD.
And already it would be desirable new wheels......
From here questions:
1. As in Russia to go by 19 radius - it is not real, there is a maximum of 18 radius. In base on AWD - 17 radius and identical width both ahead and behind. How think what width to choose for 18 radiuses and identical width both ahead and behind? Or different?
It would be desirable good appearance, and more exact driving, but there is no desire quickly to damage transmission
2. For Hikos-G - Prompt please who the manufacturer and what model of wheels at you? The reference to a site in the Internet can eat? Your wheels very like!

Beforehand thank for answers.

Hey maxis! Thanks for the kind words. I posted a lot of info about my wheels and my lowering springs in this thread~

https://g35driver.com/forums/media-share-v36-sedan/134220-pics-2nd-gen-sedans-aftermarket-rims.html

You may find some other little tidbits of info that you may be able to use. But to answer your question without you having to go thru the whole thread, I'm running Marion MR-2's, built to order thru several wheel specialists here in the states.

Not sure if I can post up links to other shops on this forum so I can suggest that you try Googling Marion wheels and see where they are available though.

Hope that helps!

Maxis,

Concerning your question about whether or not on the G35x you can have different size wheels on the front and back, you should not. All wheel drive systems do not tolerate differences in wheels/tires well, it can cause serious damage to the system. You actually should not even mix tire brands or models, all four wheels should be the same.

Split 7-spoke, 18 x 7.5-inch (front), 18 x 8.5-inch (rear) lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 (front), 245/45R18 (rear)

This is the optional wheel/tire package...

NO, this is not an option on the G35X (he is asking about the X), it is as RossG stated in his thread.

Thank guys.
So nevertheless what wheels of 18 radiuses to put on mine G35X? What width and a structure what?
Or by analogy with RWD
18 x 7.5-inch 225/50R18 (front and rear)
or
18 x 8.5-inch 245/45R18 (front and rear)
Or still as?

You should go with 18x8.5 all four corners if 18 is your max size.

Agree, but Maxis is considering the 07 G35 8.5" wide rear rims all around and the 50mm offset is not right for the front, the front offset should be 40 to 42mm offset IMHO for the AWD. So he would be better with aftermarket wheels so he can run the same offset all around on his G35X.

I'm not possitive but I don't think your considering the stock 18's. Because you asked about Hikos's rims. The stock 18's would not work as GEE35x said, wrong offset. So make sure you get the right offset when you pick the wheels you want. I have no issues with my 20x8.5 with a 37mm offset.

Maybe he wasn't talking about using OEM 18s and I got mixed up, and for sure, your 37mm offset sits well on the car.
