Weathertech trunk liner

I see that Weathertech has a trunk liner that supposedly fits the 2007 sedan and coupe. Does anyone know if this is legit or is an oversight on their webpage? The photo shown is just a stock image.

I sent them an email about it through their Canadian website and I am quite interested in this. Let us know if you find out more about this liner. I'm also curious when their floor liners will be come available, they look like they have quite a high lip and very wide coverage which would be great for Calgary.

I got a reply from WeatherTech Canada and they told me that the 07 G uses product model #40316 and that the 2006 used #40224.

I wonder why Infiniti didn't just come out with an OEM version. Anyway, for other folks' convenience, here's the link:

http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...=807&Year=2007

Looks good. My dog wouldn't appreciate being stuck in the trunk, though. Here's an excerpt from the product's description, which says:

"The WeatherTech® Cargo Liner features a textured finish which helps to keep cargo from shifting, and is perfect for hauling just about anything from gardening supplies to construction materials to the family pet."

LMAO. Well, I supposse they have the same description for cargo liners used for SUVs :-) .

I just got this response from the US WeatherTech customer Service:

"Thank you for your interest in MacNeil Automotive. The 40316 liner is designed on the new body style 2007 G35 so the part will fit your vehicle without a problem. Please call us if you have further questions and we will be happy to assist you."

Thanks! The web page (U.S.) says it's the 40316 that's for the 2007 G35. I just ordered one!

Yes, I'll do once I get it. I spoke to someone from Weathertech before I ordered it on the web, and she said it could take 2 weeks to get. I decided to pay only for regular ground shipping, since it's quite a jump in price to go for the faster shipping. I figured I won't be spilling anything in the trunk for the next few days (knock on African roseWood)!

I figured it's a good insurance policy in case groceries spill or extra windshield washer fluid spills. I had one in my previous car and it was nice to have.

Canada market cars come with an extra bungee thing to hold a jug of washer fluid but I was told it isn't on US cars. True?

I snowboard, so I cried a little each time I put my wet gear into the trunk.

Yes. Canadian cars come with an extra net. My U.S. version came with a net at the back of the trunk, but not the extra net on the right corner. Would've been nice to have both.

The cargo liner would definitely be a nice feature for you. My previous car's rear seats would fold down and I used to throw in my muddy mountain bike in the trunk, so it was another nice use of the cargo liner. Well, I won't be doing that now, but figured I still want the liner. I'll just use my wife's SUV for the bike (which also has a cargo liner).

As soon as I get the liner, I'll post my thoughts/pictures.
