I want to know if everyone thinks the new G is fast? Or at least quicker than the 06' SEDAN AND COUPE.
This awesome new G sedan has really given me a case of the heavyfootitis.

Its the fastest car ive ever owned stock.

 

its fast compared to the rest of the cars in my garage, and to my previous car and a lot fo the cars out there on the street but its definetly not fast compared to some other cars.

Can't speak for the '06s, but it feels fast.
Coming out of an FX45, so being closer to the ground really enhances the sensation of speed...
But yeah, I find myself hitting the left paddle A LOT!

 

The 07 G is definitely quick (certainly moreso than my 03), but looking at the big picture of cars I don't think it is fast.

 

Ok besides the WRX STI AND EVO I GUESS YOU CAN SAY THAT FOR 35K ITS THE FASTEST VEHICLE RIGHT?

Since you asked, yes, the G feels fast. So you should definitely put in a radar detector - I've hardwired the V1, not the K40.

EDIT>> Actually, I should have said the G IS fast, but doesn't feel that fast. In demonstrating acceleration to a youngster the other day ( ), I remembered that there's no big kick in the G. It just pulls smoothly and quietly without a huge sensation of acceleration, then you look down and the speedo is quickly entering triple digits...

 

Yup, the G feels fast, mainly because my other ride is an extended cab Z71.

It will get me into trouble , so it's fast enough .

Faster than most, not as fast as some. "Fast" is in the eye of the beholder.

I came from a car with less than half the horsepower of the new sedan, so yes it does feel fast. While it is no Ferrari 599, when I feel like I am going 100km/h I am usually doing closer to 140km/h.

My previous car, Honda Civic was 127hp, so moving to a 306hp G was a huge upgrade. When I'm doing 80mph on the highway, it feels as if tho I'm going 40mph. It feels awesome till I see a cop car and then realize I could be in trouble...
