Anyone get the base version and wish get go something else?
I am thinking of getting a G35 base, which sells for $31,450. This sounds like a great deal. The only thing I like about the premium package is the heated seats. Other than that, I don't usually use the sunroof on my car. I don't pick up the phone while driving. I can live without the memory seats, since I am single and the only one that drives this car. Perhaps, the only consideration might be the sport AT or sport MT one. Anyone, who here has purchased a base version? And did you ever wish you have gotten some other versions?

It is a great deal, but so is the sport package for what it adds, and so is the premium package- and if you don't keep the car forever you get at least half of what they cost back when you trade or sell the car. On the other hand, if you really decide you miss that stuff, it will be a good reason to trade for the G37!
I've ordered the base. Here in Canada the base comes with the heated seats/mirrors, so that made it easier for me.
Other than that, similar to you, the extra passenger seat adjustments and driver memory seats don't matter a ton to me since I'm the only person in the car 90% of the time. My cell is bluetooth with bluetooth remote headset/voice recognition anyway so I knew I wouldn't miss it as a feature in the car (though all of these things would be cool to have!).
Audio upgrade appears to be the biggest issue for me based on what I've read.
Funny, the one 'small' thing I know I'll miss is the Homelink for the garage. I do hate the idea of going back to an extra device rattling around the car - then again, I guess I only use it a couple times a day (and of course cops will likely think it's a detector - illegal here!)

The sport package provides better handling, wheels, brakes.. you get alot more for a bit more money.

We ordered a base (+sunroof) X and it comes with heated seats...which was the only option we really needed, we love the car. That being said, I wish we would have ordered the premium too. the power steering wheel/cluster and upgraded stereo would have been nice.
