steering wheel stiffness

i got a sport 6mt and the steering wheel feels stiffer than my 05 coupe. just wondering if its just mine or does all the sports does this too.
ive test drove the 1st gen sedan and i dont recall it feels this way. also ive got an 07 base non-sport as a loaner and i dont remember it feels this stiff.
anybody with me? will aftermarker rims change anything?
not that its a bad thing but imo the steering wheel should be a tad looser like the coupe.

I love the steering wheel stiffness of the new 07s. It's a completely different feel compared to the IS350 and Audi's I test drove. It offers greater control imo.

Do you mean the tightness in the steering, or in the wheel itself?

The new G35 has a variable pressure steering response system. I forget what its called, but its stiffens up at speed.

Actually I think the steering wheel on the 07' sports is lighter than my 04' coupe's. Not sure though...

It's nice to have it for manoeuvring in tight spaces. But on the other hand, I don't think I'd appreciate a Buick steering system on a sport sedan.
