Question Mild Vibration.

Does anyone feel mild vibration from their car when it's in Drive? I kind of feel a little bit of Vibration and engine shake. It is not a lot. Please let me know. I only have 2200 on the car and I got my car Dec 6 2006. I did not even do the first oil change.

Thanks in advance.

None here either...

At first oil change have them check the timing.

I agree it would be best to have it checked out at the Dealers. Mine is very smooth with no vibrations as you describe. I have around 2,000 miles on my X.

Does it happen all the time? Only when cold, etc...? Does it hesitate?
There is no timing to adjust on these cars.. might be some bad fuel, or a flaky sensor possibly which should show up on a diagnostic machine.

I think more likely cold weather. I am using 93 premium gas. I don't use crappy gas. I Usually get my gas from Shell VQ-power thing... It is strange. it was not doing that at first. There is no hesitation. Car has a strong pick up. I might be too sensitive to Vibration. Some people don't consider what I consider a vibration. oh well... Thanks for everyone's input, I will have the dealer check it out at first oil change.

Check the tires for ice/snow?

Found out that after I dug out my car the other afternoon that I got some shudder at speed - had little chunks of ice on the tires in certain spots.

Is he vibration in DRIVE while stopped? Or does it continue up to a certain MPH?

Idle vibration is pretty different than vibration during acceleration.

This is not during driving. This is more on the idle. You guys try this, put your leg against the driver side door panel while you standing at traffic or red like turn off your radio and see if you feel any minor shake from your engine? Let me know please.

I've felt some very slight vibration at idle before. Felt it when car was warming up first thing in the morning with tranny in P. Though I don't recall if I've felt it with car fully warmed up, stopped at redlight with tranny in D.

07 Sedan S - 4,200 Miles. Noticed problem around 1,500 miles.

I do, I feel a small/moderate vibration on the steering wheel. I thought it was due to the surface area I was driving on but, I feel the vibration more and more even on smooth surface. (Speed range of 65 to 70)

Odd thing is….it seems to correct itself. It’ll vibrate for several miles and then it’s fine. Odd……

The only vibrations I feel are when I place my hand on the shifter.

There is a little felt vibration that comes through the handle.

That is all, so far <knock on wood>...

Some initial vibration while the car is warming up - but after that, none.

Again, sounds like an idle thing that the dealer can probably fix quickly..
