Not about immaturity my friend - its about proving a point. When I see irrational, hard headed, power hungry people ... I like to make the point known just how unreasonable people are. I have no problem w/ others perceiving me to be "immature", so long as it gets my point across to others that those "over seeing" things here have a few screws missing. Am I the immature one, or is it the the mod's?

Think about it. Everyone here said "we would like to talk about unlocking the GPS functionality".

They said "no"

When asked "why?"

Because it poses a liability issue - just like all the other "illegal" and immoral items discussed on here.

This is like a bully in the school yard getting his way ... immaturity?

Quote: I'm proving a point and standing up for what I (and many others believe in), okay BEECH? If they restrict our right to speak freely, then what do we have left .. a forum to post our pics???
Oh, I see. A team-rallying cry. Spartaaa!

What point are you making? That you'll be rude and crass when someone makes a judgment you disagree with? That you lack the capacity to understand any point of view except your own? Okay, we get that. What else do you have to offer?

You're a GUEST here. It would serve you well to remember that. If a friend invited you over and his wife said something you didn't appreciate or agree with, would you become a sarcastic a$$hole and publicly belittle her, or would you talk to your friend quietly off the cuff when it was more appropriate?

You can speak freely about whatever topic the moderators decide is appropriate. No one here is telling you what you can or can't say, but they are absolutely entitled to control the content of these forums as they see fit. If you don't like it, pack it in. Either way, stop whining like a two year old.

Quote: Seriously, how old are you? I didn't know lawyers were this immature. Like I said, leave the site if you don't like it.
He's an attorney? If he is, wouldn't he know a little bit more about liability then we do?

p.s. not that I'm agreeing with him (judging from his spelling and language I wouldn't think he is in fact an attorney lol)

Why are you posting the same thing in every thread you can find? Cut it out!

PM me and I'll give you a 101 class on liability. If you can bring forward even one example where open dialogue on an online forum was used to impose liability on the site housing the content, then I will take back every word.

Done.

I knew it was too good to be true.

Normally when children ask 'why' too many times they get sent to their room.

Who GAF about your one 'one example?' The boss said 'this is the rule...' You're not the boss. If they perceive risk, they're within their rights. I certainly wouldn't base my decision on some internet lawyer's advice who so obviously lacks self-control.

LMFAO over here at this toolbag.

Silly rabbit. You can't say 'honesty' and 'lawyer' in the same thread.

The entire reason why I voiced my concern was out of the benefit of the site as a whole, not for my own personal benefit.

I not once attacked or belittled anyone innocent on here, I simply called the Mod’s on their rationale and decision making, and now all of a sudden I am the one who is being mocked and ridiculed??? Think about it. I respect everyone on here and all of their respective views and opinions, and someone decides to say, “you know what – you’re not making a lot of sense”, and all of a sudden I’m the one who is patronized for it??? If you all feel I’m out to lunch on this, then I’ll leave it be (and have stated so earlier), but some of you continue to patronize me, so until that stops, I will continue to defend my point. If you want me to leave it, then I suggest you drop it as well.
