My solution to uncomfortable Sport Seats

I had no problems with the sport seats in my 2003 Coupe. When I got my 2007 Sport sedan, I had no problems either on a short test drive. But after owning it for a few days I noticed that my left lateral thigh was digging into the left side of the seat and hurting after about 15-20 minutes. For some reason, it's only uncomfortable on the left leg and not the right leg.
I never really used the seat extension on my 2007 that pulls the front of the seat forward and makes the bench longer. I'm only barely 5' 6", so I didn't think I'd need it. For the past few days, I've had the extender out one notch so it goes all the way flush to my popliteal fossa (back of knee). Now my left thigh DOES NOT hurt anymore!!!
I think my leg is being supported up more by the front and not pushing so much weight onto the back and side as previous.
I guess I don't need to ask the dealer to adjust or swap out the seat as I planning to.

The IS...please.
But I know what you mean about the seat cushion extension / thigh support. They make a WORLD of difference in long distance driving.

nothing personal (don't you love when someone says that?), but i'm guessing hte folks with problems are (1) fat or big thighed and/or (2) never had adjustable sport seats before.
i've been reading this about this car, audis, and my previous BMWs for years... same thing always.
and, i always wonder "why don't they just adjust it?"
for the record, i prefer sport seats and love my g35's.
for the record, many people hate all sport seats and buy thyem once.
