Question Super dumb question - but I'm a noob on this car...

How do I save a radio (XM) preset over something that is already taken? - When I picked up the car, my salesman went over the basics and showed me how to save stations. He dropped a couple of AM and FM stations on presets 1 and 2, which I want to get rid off and replace with XM presets. When I tune to XM it jumps to the next available preset (as an option for me to save it there). If I scroll back to the 1st spot where I want to save the channel, it drops XM and goes back to playing AM from that specific saved preset...

TIA

You just have to tune it to the station and then press and hold the button you want to set.

Go to whatever preset you want (A, B or C).
Then click band to go to XM, AM, FM
Use the tune button to go to the station you want
Press and Hold 1-6

Where are the numbers? Do you mean pressing on the screen itself?

Numbers 1 through 6. The same numbers you use to change the CD playing in the CD changer (not on the screen)

didn't your sales consultant show you all this? the DVD that comes w/ the car explains a lot but if you're willing to take a trip down I'd be more than welcome to show you all the secrets in the tech stuff on the G

No not the touchscreen...the preset numbers (1-6) that are between the radio controls and the HVAC controls on the vertical stack. Can set presets for A, B and C for Sat radio, AM or FM.

Took me a good part of this past Sunday afternoon with the Quick Reference Guide and sitting the garage to begin to cover some of the features of the new G. But it was worth it.

Heck, it sounds like such a great idea too. I will inquire with my Dealer about that today when I call again to find out why Canadian Infiniti Dealers still can't get splashguards

I might end up doing that yet Kenny, Thank you.

I talked to my salesman this afternoon and complained. Right now he is talking to the Parts to see about ordering them from the US for me. These were included with my car deal I made up here last November
