WOW thats really good i wish i can hit 400 + Mine says anywhere from 336 to 298 mostly 296 tho cause i like to gun it alot here in cali

Mine usually says 330.
Of course, it changes the second I pull out of the gas station.

 

You must have a larger capacity gas tank. Just kidding! Mine is ~320 to 353 on a full tank. Last fill up I finally didn't have a lead foot and squeezed out about 350 before going empty. I think your sensor is not calibrated accurately.

 

Mine is around 380 ish on fill up, but it does drop fast once I start driving.

 

It all depends on how the car has been driven just prior to filling.
Fill after a run on the hwy and it'll show high, but fill after a day of city driving and it'll show low.
After filling, the DTE will adjust quickly to new conditions and will rise for a long while on the hwy at steady speed showing optimum distance while driving in optimum conditions.

IMO, it's more important to know your range as you are running low. What sucks for me is it won't read lower than 9 miles range on mine before "******" shows up.

 

i usually fill up with ~50 miles left ot the tank. i once had it at 39 and the gas light came on. scared the **** out of me!

Dont worry, when it gets down to the teens it will suddenly blank out, basically no indication of miles left. I was able to drive ~ 10 miles after but being very conservative on the pedal.

 

Mine usually says around 340.

Last fill up I drove mine down to 10, 9, 7, 4, 3, 0, then it said ****. Drove about another 4 miles to a gas station and put 17.5 gallons in it. So, since it it a 20 gallon tank, there was at least a 2.5 gallon reserve. I certainly don't advocate relying on that, and I can't imagine that it would be good to run the tank completely dry.

 

Not sure, mine didnt wanna let me fill it up past 1/2 full this evening. I am used to the back the nozzle out 1/2 way thing too from my 05 coupe. ARRRG- ohh well, it was too damn cold to stand there messing with it. Maybe the pump was sucking air from the middle east?!?!
