Just an FYI to everyone that Speeed and I are only two that will be posting in this section. We want to keep it as clutter free as possible. Thanks.

Be sure to include the "How do we turn the car off without turning the accesories off"

Hit the Start button twice rapidly when turning the car off

Hi Shane - Great idea. Will likely save YOU a lot of repeated work/replies as well! Not sure if someone else might have suggested this but perhaps an FAQ on the break in period? With all the new G's arriving (or arrivals pending), that might be a good one. I remember seeing a few posts on this subject quite a while back.

I've posted some things in the FAQ section now. Take a look when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

As some of you may noticed, I moved the FAQ thread to the main section of the forum and stickied it. It seemed to make sure sense than having a separate section for one single thread.

Hey Shane / Speed,

Just a quick thought for the FAQ's. I was doing a quick search for some items that I know are in the owner's manual (too lazy/late to go out in the cold/dark to pull it from the car).

Thought I'd seen the electonic version of the manual posted somewhere but just realized it's not in the FAQ section. Maybe a link worth posting there (if it's within copyright)?

Cheers.

Good selection here : http://www.infiniti.com/iapps/techpubs ...and come to think of it, I dont recall getting a copy of the posted Quick Reference Guide.

Sounds logical at first thought...

JMO, but I think it would make more sense to have the FAQ/DIY in a section of their own (as now), with some subsection structure.
Then add a sticky in each related car section ie. '07 sedan. c/w hot link to the FAQ.

That way data is structured in one location & organized.
The stickies help users get used to going to the FAQ/DIY area.
I think this would also lead to a lot fewer redundant questions as users get familiar with looking things up for themselves.

:edit:
The question needs to be asked...
What direction do the admins want to take this site?
JMO, but this type of sectioning will lead to more & more sub community isolation.
