Phonebook and a pause command?

Hopefully this is something I've simply overlooked. Is it possible to configure a dialing pause in the Nav phone book to allow for a subsequent pass code? My PPC-6700 can't be used to transfer over contacts so just looking for a way to automate my work voicemail access.

Thanks!

Usually, with cell phones, you can do a #, or # twice, or something. When your phone dials, it will pause. I know it works because I used to do it on my old nokia. I'd have some number stored, with a pause, then the passcode.

Only way I got it to work is by hitting the phone button again and voicing the numbes manually

I also have a PPC6700. The windows mobile phones have a crippled bluetooth stack. Nothing like paying $500 for a smartphone that won't do what my wife's freebie Sprint Katana will do.

The good news is I found an upgraded bluetooth stack that lets you transfer phone numbers, show signal strength, and show battery status on the car LCD. You can get it at http://www.jetwaremobile.com/. The current build didn't let me transfer contacts, but the beta build did. You can email support for the beta link.

I didn't realize you could do this. Sounds much better than picking up the phone and keying in the extra digits like I do now. Will give it a try as I drive home tonight.

I installed the file and can now see the signal strength, but I still cannot transfer my contacts. Anyone else using a Verizon XV6700 and got it to work? Is the PPC-6700 similar to the XV6700?

Thanks t! I already had the firmware update, but I did not load the beta. I just installed it and we'll see how it goes on my way home.

After I installed the JetWare mobile software, my phone didn't seem that stable. The Bluetooth seemed flaky as well. Sometimes it would connect to the G, sometimes it wouldn't. Have you had any issues like this? How stable is your phone now?

Thanks again for your help.

(By the way, IMO, this is EXACTLY what this forum is all about! People HELPING people.)

Just have some games loaded. Nothing that should interfere with the Jetware software. We'll see what loading the beta version does.

Thanks again!
